Cumnock 2016 – The Exhibition. Baird Museum & Gallery

Our exhibition of photographs of life in present day Cumnock was shown over a 6 month period from August 2016 till January 2017. This well attended exhibition celebrated the 150th anniversary of Cumnock becoming a Police Burgh in 1866.

All photos were by local people and feature in our Flickr Group HERE and or Facebook Group HERE

You can still pick up the History Treasure Trail and What’s Changed In The Square educational resources at the Baird Museum in Lugar Street.

For the Centenary celebration in 1966 the Chronicle produced a 12 page special which you can download HERE
